2008 Fall Fest Application
Welcome back to Arkansas Tech! Student Activities Board is striving to collaborate with organizations throughout the ATU campus. Our traditional “Fall Fest” is around the corner with great fun involved. Your organization could join in on the fun, win money, and gain great public relations with students, staff and faculty. “Fall Fest is scheduled for Wednesday, November 05, 2008 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Chamber's West Lawn.
“Fall Fest” is designed with a carnival like theme. SAB invites your organization to have a booth with a game at this event. We encourage you to be as innovative as possible! As students play your game they will be awarded tickets, allowing them a chance to win prizes from SAB in random drawings throughout the evening. During this event your booth will be judged by outside parties such as Arkansas Tech Administration. Listed below are some suggestions for possible games. We encourage you to have fun and create an original game.
- Pie Throw
- Ring toss
- Pin the tail on the donkey
- Basketball throw
- Face painting
- Obstacle course
- Limbo
At the end of the evening, cash prizes will be awarded based on:
- Creativity/Originality of the game
- The use of the Homecoming Theme
- Student Participation
The amount for these prizes are: (Prizes subject to change)
- First Place $ 800.00
- Second Place $ 500.00
- Third Place $ 300.00
- Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh $ 100 each
SAB is looking forward to hearing from your organization. Participation is limited to available space, so please return your application promptly. The deadline for submission is Friday, October 10, 2008 by 5:00 pm in Student Services Office. After all applications have been received they will be approved by the SAB Executive Board and its advisors to ensure safety and that guidelines set froth in the Arkansas Tech handbook are followed.
